Professor Andreas Lendein Visited Tianjin University

On Nov. 21, 2006, Prof. Andreas Lendein, Director of the Institute of Polymer Research, GKSS Forschungszentrum, visited Tianjin University (TU). Prof. Hu Xiaotang, Vice President of TU, met German guests in his office. Prof. Yuan Yingjin, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering, Prof. Yang Fuling, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Office also joined the meeting.

Vice President HU Xiaotang extended warm welcome to Prof. Lendein and his colleagues, and then gave a brief introduction to the recent development of TU since April this year, when Prof. Andreas Lendein and his delegation made their first visit to TU. Prof. Lendein briefly talked about his new ideas on the future cooperation between the Institute of Polymer Research and School of Chemical Engineering.

Both sides expressed their hope to promote the exchange in the field of medicine and biotechnology, and discussed cooperation possibility in basic research.
