Headed by A. Sreeram, vice president of Global Research and Development, a party of representatives from Dow Chemical Company paid a visit to ECUST and made educational and academic exchanges on March 11. On behalf of both sides, Vice president A. Sreeram and President Xuhong Qian signed a letter of intention for strategic collaboration.
As one of the global strategic partner university, ECUST is to make all-round exchanges and collaboration with the Dow Chemical Company on such areas as chemical engineering, material, chemistry and power etc. ECUST is the first cooperation partner among universities in Shanghai with the Dow Chemical Company, the biggest chemical company in America.
