About the exhibition
Since 29 years, Motexha has been a significant sourcing event for garments, textiles, leather and fashion accessories industry. The 2007 edition of Motexha held from 19th – 21st of
March at Dubai International Exhibition Centre lived up to its mark and surpassed its previous editions with 225 exhibitors coming from 23 countries.

Visitors from over 50 countries visited Motexha 2007 with majority of them coming from regional countries including United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Dubai with imports of AED 12 billion is one of the largest and strongest markets for textile and garments in the Middle East region. Textiles, alone are Dubai’s second largest re-export commodity, with a trade value of US $ 1 billion, making it the destination for burgeoning business prospects.

Motexha 2008 is scheduled from 31March to April 2 in halls 6 and 7 of Dubai International Exhibition Centre. The forthcoming show will bring together major manufacturers and suppliers from all over the world to meet with region’s prominent buyers, decision makers and distributors in a B2B environment.
