The producers prices for manufactured goods increased by 5.6% in March as compared with the same month of last year, purchasing prices for raw materials, fuels, and power were up by 9.7%, almost remain the same level as compared with last month; respectively up by 0.9% and 1.3% as compared with the monthly average ratio. In March, the producers prices for means of production were up by 7.6% over the same month of last year; its impact on the total level of producers prices for manufactured goods was up by 5.6 percentage points. Of which, prices for mining and quarrying industry, raw materials industry and machining industry was up by 26.8%, 11.1% and 2.7% respectively. The producers prices for means of consumer goods was up by 0.2% than the same month of last year. Of which, foodstuff, clothing, and articles for daily use was respectively up by 1.7%, 0.6% and 2.5%, while that durable consumer goods dropped by 3.2%. In terms of different categories: -- In view of prices for crude oil and oil products, the producers prices for crude oil was up by 31.8% over that in the same month of last year, its impact on the general level of producers prices for manufactured goods was up by 1.1 percentage points. The prices for oil products, such as gasoline, kerosene and diesel oil rose by 17.9%, 13.1% and 23.1% respectively. -- In view of prices for chemical products, the producers prices for polystyrene, latex, terylene silk, carbamide, ammonium nitrate, and vitriol ammonia was respectively rose 26.3%, 23.9%, 14.5%, and 11.3% 19.7% and 6.3%. -- In view of prices for coal products, the producers price for mining and cleaning industry rose by 26.3% over that in the same month of last year. Of which, producers prices for crude coal rose by 26.6%. -- In view of prices for steel products, the prices for smelting and pressing of ferrous metals went up by 6.5% as compared with that in the month. Of which, prices for ordinary large rolled-steel and small rolled-steels went up by 1.4% and 7.4% respectively; that of ordinary medium rolled-steels and wire rod dropped by 4.8% and 2.1% respectively; that of heavy steel plate and light steel plate was respectively up by 17.7% and 15.6%. -- In view of prices for nonferrous metals products, the producers prices for smelting and pressing nonferrous metals increased by 10.8% as compared with same month of last year, of which, producers prices for copper, aluminum, lead, zinc and nickel raised by 3.6%--14%. Wherein the purchasing prices for 9 kinds of raw materials, fuels and power products, that of the prices for ferrous and non-ferrous metals materials, chemical material and fuel and power rose up by 10.0%, 12.7%, 12.8% and 15.5% respectively. As compared with the same period of last year, the producers prices for manufactured goods was up by 5.6 % in first quarter, purchasing prices for raw materials, fuels, and power rose by 10.1%. |
