Officers of Shatoujiao Customs House (affiliated to Shenzhen Customs District) said they had broken a mobile phone smuggling case on 6 May. Officers had found 5 models of, all together 315 smuggled Samsung mobile phones in 3 secret compartments hidden in a truck which was deliberately declared as empty . Officers said the case involved a value of RMB 510,000 and an unpaid duty of RMB 74,000. The truck involved and the suspect(s) have been transferred to the anti-smuggling bureau.
