Thinsoft (Holdings) is expected to officially take over Foshan Ruifeng Petrochemical Fuel in January 2011, with handover still underway now, according to a refinery source.

The main management of Foshan Ruifeng Petrochemical would be retained and its business would be unchanged in the near future, the source said.

Thinsoft (Holdings) acquired Foshan Ruifeng Petrochemical Fuel for Yuan 630-mil on Sep 14, 2010, the source revealed.

Sources with Thinsoft (Holdings) are unreachable for comments at the moment.
Thinsoft (Holdings) is a software and hardware accessories seller listed in Hong Kong.

Foshan Ruifeng Petrochemical Fuel is a minor refinery located in South China's Guangdong Province, equipped with a 1-mil-mt/yr distillation-visbreaking unit. It is affiliated by a 190,000-cu-m tank farm and 5,000-DWT jetty. It mainly processes straight-run high-sulfur fuel oil from Singapore and Malaysia, as well as cutback bitumen. The refinery ran at nearly 70% in 2010.
