Storopack has developed expanded polypropylene (EPP) packaging for two B jar Signature fragrances, Zentropy and Goldskin. The Spanish brand specialises in perfume products for the international luxury goods market.
The moulding experts at Storopack suggested the use of expanded polystyrene with a laminated surface and texturing. In the resulting design the base of the packaging doubles up as a display platform while the slip-on lid fixes the perfume bottle in place. The two parts are joined together by a printed card sleeve.
According to the manufacturer, the new presentation case creates distinctive appeal at the point-of-sale . In the previous version, the bottle was sometimes damaged the box a problem which has now been fully eliminated. The EPP provides good product protection, added Storopack.
