China: Sinopec Dongxing Refinery halts LPG barge sale on loading arm failure

Sinopec Dongxing Refinery has halted LPG barge sale since last weekend on glitch of a loading arm and might not resume supply until this weekend, said a refinery source.
The refinery recorded high LPG inventory currently, although it slashed LPG price to promote truck sale, a market source told .
Dongxing Refinery offered LPG at Yuan 6,440/mt by truck Tuesday, Yuan 110-160/mt lower than trading level in the Pearl River Delta, according to a trader. In addition, it gave a discount of Yuan 150/mt to key accounts, the trader revealed.
Dongxing Refinery is a major LPG producer in West Guangdong in South China. It has a topping capacity of 5-mil mt per year and supplies about 1,100mt of LPG per day.
LPG loading arm is a device connecting LPG barges and pipelines.
