China s energy major Sinopec is planning to import 2 lakh tons of diesel to meet country s daily demand as some provinces in the country are reported facing short supply.
According to an official statement, the company also decided to raise daily processed volume by 5,900 tons to a record high of 583,000 tonnes a day in November.
Chinese provinces including Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Sichuan faced supply shortages of diesel in Oct, though Sinopec processed 12.3 percent more crude oil in the month.
