Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical would delay maintenance of 1-mil-mt/yr ethylene unit from early November to end of this year, a refinery source said without giving reason.
When the maintenance kicks off, the refinery's daily LPG supply would grow by 1,000mt, market sources estimated.
Zhenhai Refining & Chemical produces about 2,200mt per day of LPG commodity at present.
Located in Ningbo City of East China's Zhejiang Province, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical has a topping capacity of 23-mil mt annually, with complexity ratio hitting 87%. It brought on stream the 1-mil-mt/yr ethylene unit late this April.
