The increase will affect all of its low-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene and high-density polyethylene resin, effective November 1, the statement said.
Other polyethylene producers have yet to outline their November pricing policies, waiting for the settlement of feedstock ethylene contract price.
"We will be looking for a price increase in LDPE in November, but we need to see developments in other grades," a producer said.
European converters have mixed expectations for November, with some expecting downward pressure for some grades to persist and stable pricing to emerge for others.
