If Gazprom's proposal is accepted, both tariffs will rise by 15.3%, the spokesman clarified.
From January 1, tariff for gas transported within the Russian domestic market and customs union territory averaged Rb51.37 ($1.70)/1,000 cubic meters/100 km, according to the service's website.
Tariff for transporting gas outside Russia and customs union averaged Rb56.90 ($1.89)/1,000 cu m/100 km, the website said.
Russian independent producers include Novatek, Itera, as well as vertically integrated companies Lukoil, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz and TNK-BP.
