p>Zhangjiagang Oriental Energy Co (ZOUEC) kicked off sales of imported LPG for resident use in both retail and wholesale market in Taizhou City of Zhejiang Province in East China, a survey showed.

The company's LPG filling station in Taizhou with storage capacity of over 200 cu m is expected to sell about 400mt of per month LPG to local residents.

"It is natural ZOUEC expanded its business to residential-consuming LPG market as homemade LPG prices were high on supply shortage," said a source with a local depot.

As C1 reported earlier, ZOUEC acquired a distributor in Taizhou City in Zhejiang in July, intending to exploit the retail market of imported LPG.
