In recent three years, around 40 kt HCFC-141b foaming agent were consumed averagely every year in China, of which nearly 25-30% were consumed in refrigerator, refrigerated container and small home appliance industries, 20% in solar energy water heater and pipeline insulation industries, and 36% in foaming panel and spray building foam industries.
However, HCFC-141b consumption slipped in refrigerator, refrigerated container and small home appliance industries and surged in solar energy water heater, foaming panel and spray building industries due to rapid development of these three industries.
The sub-industries of PU foam plastic industry included refrigerator, refrigerated container, small home appliance, solar energy water heater, pipeline insulation, foaming panel and spray building foam industries.
