p>After maintenance of a 3-mil-mt/yr fluid catalytic cracker (FCC), PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical has resumed LPG production, producing 200-300mt on Monday, according to a source with the refinery.
The refinery is expected to raise LPG output to normal level of about 400mt a day within one week, the source said.
With LPG supply from Lanzhou Petrochemical back in place, supply shortage in Gansu Province is likely to ease notably. Local LPG prices have been strong over supply shortfall.
Located in Northwest China's Gansu Province, Lanzhou Petrochemical has 13-mil mt of annual topping capacity.
