BASF Pakistan dispatches relief goods

The BASF Pakistan has dispatched relief goods for the flood affectees. A consignment consisting of packets of dry food items and medicines was handed over to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) at the Governor House here. A statement on Sunday said that Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan, was also present on the occasion.
An official of BASF Pakistan informed the Governor that on Tuesday relief goods' consignments would be dispatched for the flood affectees of the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Sindh Governor appreciated the relief efforts undertaken by BASF Pakistan.
The Managing Director of BASF Pakistan, Qazi Sajid Ali, apprised the Governor of the relief efforts undertaken by his company. He said centres have been set up at the company's head office and in different cities in the country for collecting flood relief donations. Qazi Sajid said that the employees of BASF are actively participating in the relief efforts.
He stated that later on assistance would also be extended in the rehabilitation task. Sindh Governor hoped that the philanthropists as well as the organisations would fully help the flood affectees.
