Iran's oil minister Massoud Mirkazemi announced three gas, oil and condensate discoveries today. State-controlled news agency IRNA said Forouz lies southeast of the Mideast Gulf island of Kish and contains 700bn m of natural gas and 288mn bl of condensate. It could produce 70mn m /d of gas, IRNA said, without giving any estimate for condensate output. The Toos field in the northeast of Iran could produce 4mn m /d of gas, while Alborz in the central province of Qom could output 2,000 b/d of crude, the agency said.
