PUWORLD(2010-06-11) Shell Chemicals proposed its Asian MEG contract price in July as $850(CFR) which slipped by $120 compared with last month.
Shell had adjusted downward its contract prices by $250/ton for three consecutive months since May. For now, cargo prices in Asia were around $710/ton CFR to the vicinity of China.
Major MEG contract players include Shell, BASF, MEGlobal, INEOS Oxide, Clariant, M&G and Artenius.
