In October 2003, we signed a contract with CVRD, Brazil for supplying 200 grain hopper wagons, which delivered in January 2004. 1,000 mm truck gauge and 25t axle load.
The wagons were manufactured by the Qiqihar Rolling Stock Plant, a subsidiary of the corporation, in line with US standards. The shipment would lay a sound foundation for future efforts to the US and European markets.
