Zhao Xiaogang said: we downsized employees by 40,000 persons nearly one-third of the total employee size and stripped more than 300 enterprises off the group, in which, 95% enterprises survived well in the market. After that, we built up competitive product lines, and our company was dedicated to market development and independent innovation.

Since 2007 CSR achieved rampant growth, and its EMU s hourly speed evolved from 200km to 350km and then to 380km, by now, it has become advanced among its global counterparts.
