6 CSR employees honored as national model workers

On the eve of the May Day, the Conference on National Model Workers and Advanced Workers was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the morning of April 27. As a result, six employees of CSR were honored as national model workers.

The prize winners included Wang Songwen, vice chief engineer of CSR and general manager of the Passenger coach Department; Ding Rongjun, general manager of CSR Zhuzhou Research Insititue ; Chu Yongping,vice chief engineer of CSR Puzhen; Xu Xiufeng, deputy director of the Technical Center of CSR Shijiazhuang; Wu Shuxuan, senior welding technician of CSR Qishuyan; and Ou Qinglian, welding technician of CSR Yangtze.

According to the source, 2,985 workers who have made remarkable achievements in all trades and professions will be honored as national model workers and advanced workers, including 2,115 national model workers and 870 national advanced workers, accounting for 70.9% and 29.1% respectively.
