Tianjin Industrial Park is a strategic choice of CSR based on the overall industrial layout and Tianjin s superiority in future development, early in August 2009, CSR and the Tianjin Municipal Government had entered into a strategic agreement. Tianjin boasts a superior geographical location and port transportation conditions, and enjoys an overwhelming advantage in transporting super-wide, super-high and super-heavy wind power generation units and super-long blades; also, Tianjin supports the development of the new energy industry represented by electric vehicles, is striving to be an electric vehicle demonstration city under the program of 1,000 Vehicles in Ten Cities ; in mass transit, Tianjin planned mass transit stretching over 1,000km, will construct subways at a speed of about 100km a year before 2020 and need about 600 metro vehicles a year, all of which coincide with CSR s industrial layout. Located at Beichen District, with an area of over 1,000 mu, CSRTianjinIndustrial Park will build a metro vehicle industrialization and integrated maintenance service base, form a mass capacity for the shop repair, un-wheeling repair and general assembly of metro vehicles, and provide customized products and integrated maintenance services for the development of mass transit in Tianjin. In cooperation with related enterprises in Tianjin, CSR also manufactured large hybrid buses in a localized manner, sped up the development of new energy buses in Tianjin and promoted the development of Tianjin into an eco-friendly city. Besides, CSR will take full advantage of Tianjin s superior geographic location, port transportation conditions, the effect of industrialized agglomeration of wind power generation units, the strong matching capacity of key parts as well as CSR s advantages in core technology and system integration technology in areas such as complete wind power generation equipment and key parts to construct onshore wind farms in Northeast China, North China and Northwest China and offshore wind farm generation units in the coastal areas and form an annual production capacity of 500 2.5MW-5MW wind power generators.
