An Iranian power plant built by Shanghai Electric successfully energized
The Iran Sahand Fossil Fuel Power Plant, built by Shanghai Electric as general contractor, was successfully
energized at the end of last month. The power plant is equipped with two 325MW oil/gas-fired generators (with
indirect cooling system). Oil will be used as the primary fuel, while natural gas being the secondary fuel.
