The first contract of Gas Turbine Power Plant of Shanghai Electric Signed

A contract, concerning the supply of 3X350MW(F grade) gas turbine engines associated cycling power station equipments to Shanghai Shi Dong Kou Gas Turbine Power Station, was signed between SHANGHAI ELECTRIC-Siemens Combo and Huaneng Power International, Inc. with the total contract amount of RMB 1500 millions.

The contract, which is the largest order of gas turbine power station since the manufacture history in Shanghai, shows that Shanghai manufacture industry is striding it step to the resource-cleaning field. During the biding for this 16 gas turbine engines consisted projects, SHANGHAI ELECTRIC experienced a severe competition with GE, Mitsubishi and other competitors form domestic and overseas, and finally successfully got the bid for 9 of the 16 gas turbine engines.

The project in Shanghai Shi Dong Kou is one part of the bid. Huang Dinan, the president of SHANGHAI ELECTRIC, presented the signing ceremony.
