Shanghai Electric and Areva sign a contract to set up new joint ventures
September 12, Shanghai Electric and Areva sign a contract to set up new joint ventures, to develop of high-voltage, super high voltage and ultra high voltage transformers. The two factories will be located one in Shanghai Lingang
Base, and the other in Wuhan. After the establishment of new factories the transformer production will be rised from 50,000 MVA to 85,000 MVA.
