Shanghai Electric signed the 11th power project with India

Power Station Group of Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd. and Calcutta Electric Supply Company signed the Chandpur contract of 2 300MW main equipment on April 28. Zhou Zhizhu, President Assistant of Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd., General Manager of the Engineering Company of Power Station Group, and Yuan Yi, Deputy General Manager of the Engineering Company attended the signing ceremony. Zhu Denian, Vice President of Power Station Group, Deputy General Manager of the Engineering Company signed the contract.This project is Power Station Group s third overseas contract signed this year after overcoming the market downturn due to global economic crisis and is the 11th contract signed in India so far. Established in 1899, Calcutta Electric Supply Company is India's first generation company, which enjoys a great reputation in India s power sector.
