Recently, TISCO developed 16MnDR low-temperature pressure vessel steel which has been certified by the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and got the manufacturing permission of 16MnDR special equipment, becoming one of state certificated special equipment manufacturers while there is only a few similar in China.
16MnDR is a low-temperature pressure vessel steel, which is mainly used for manufacture in locomotive, frame structure and low temperature vessels and has high market demand. Compared with conventional 16MnR steel, it can maintain steady impact toughness and strength even at -20 , and such steel plate meets the requirements of second-level defect detection and has high added value.
