On March 1, the heavy plate mill of Baosteel Co., Ltd. produced the first plate at its first hot load trial run.
The heavy plate mill of Baosteel Co., Ltd. is technically assembled in China while some key technologies and devices are introduced from abroad. The mill will produce pipeline steel, shipbuilding steel, structure steel, boiler and pressure vessel steel, weathering steel and die steel when it is put into production.
