On May 18th, the 2005 Fortune Global Forum successfully concluded in the Great Hall of People in Beijing, China. Xie Qihua, president of China Iron & Steel Association and chairwoman of Shanghai Baosteel Group Corporation, attended 11 conferences and 15 symposiums held by the forum, and the discussion have been circling round the main question, namely "the Booming Economy and Commerce".
The theme of the forum was "China and the New Asian Century". The representatives from 77 Top 500 companies and over 800 business tycoons participated this forum.
On the morning of May 18th, Xie Qihua had heated discussion with two other honored quests from McKinsey and American Chamber of Commerce, and answered the questions posed by the participant journalists.
