Recently, TISCO has successfully trial produced the ultra ferritic stainless steel TTS446 used for hot exchanger of Binhai Power Station. Up to now, stainless steel products from TISCO are extensively applied in the thermal power, hydropower and nuclear power of power generation industry.
TISCO has developed new completely anti-oxidize and heat-proof stainless steel 253 MA which is needed urgently in China in 2007, the products quality reached the level of the same kind of imported product, realizing heat-proof stainless steel grades serialization, filling up the blank in this field in china and substituting the imported products. 253MA has been applied to the three domestic greatest power groups. In the meantime, ultra-super critical pressure SUPER304H and HR3C used for tube and tube billet of the power station boiler have been successfully developed in TISCO, which are approved by the technique appraisal of national boiler plants, and have been applied to the manufacture of boiler for domestic thermal power generation station. The development of the material has broken through the situation of long-term depending to imported products, filling up the domestic blank.
TISCO has begun to supply the super martensite stainless steel to domestic hydropower industry since 2005, the products which were popular among broad users during these several years, have been successfully applied to the construction of Three Gorges Hydropower Station and Aba Hydropower Station. TISCO has kept a long-term good cooperation with many hydropower manufacturers, such as Harbin Power Station and NEPC which are influential in China. This year, TISCO won the bidding of hydropower plate used for Three Gorges Hydropower Project, which indicated that the hydropower stainless steel plate has accessed into high-end market of domestic hydropower industry.
Compared with common products, the requirements on the production organization, production process, quality guarantee system and management process of the nuclear pole stainless steel for nuclear power station are quite higher. It has depended on imported products for a long time. The domestic customers of nuclear stainless steel for nuclear power station signed the production contract with TISCO first time on May 2007. The quality and technical performance of TISCO products can meet customers requirements, with its products passed all inspections smoothly, and deserved customers confirmation. It filled up domestic blank and ended the monopoly history of nuclear stainless steel for nuclear power station imported from abroad. Currently, TISCO has successfully supplied nuclear secondary and third stainless steel products to Qinshan Nuclear Power, Linao Nuclear Power and NEPC.
