TISCO Successfully Developed CB11 Steel for National Key Project

Recently, non-modified pre-hardening type plastic Bainite die steel, i.e. CB11 steel was developed successfully by TISCO Technology Center, Profiles Plant, and Beijing Tsinghua University jointly, and this success of research and development fills up the domestic blank.

This steel grade requires high strength, wear resistance and polishing performance, so its process requirements are very strict in the research. Professors from Tsinghua University said that it s a miracle for TISCO to produce such steel used for national key project with old equipments of the 1950s.
