Complying to the innovative developing concept of concerning today ,looking into the future, promoting corporation s core competence , advanced varieties plan for this year was initiated in an all-round way recently in order to strengthen technology and product innovative capability. It gives the full play of its process and technology and equipment advantage, conducts the transferring from regular products and products in similar quality to characteristic and high-end products. The implementation of the plan will play an important role in speeding up further corporate technical innovative step and promoting corporate core competence.
Based on further product development direction, advanced varieties R D plan will focus on varieties with strategic importance such as stainless steel, cold-rolled silicon steel, high strength hot-rolled coils, and etc this year. With respect to R D of stainless steel, TISCO will develop super, super-purification and resource-saving stainless steel; produce super duplex stainless steel 2507 hot-rolled sheets and economical duplex stainless steel 2101 hot-rolled sheets in batches; make further improvement on productive efficiency, rolling yield and magnetic performance of its super-high-brand non-oriented silicon steel products; increase additional values of its products by striving efforts for developing wear plate, engineering and machinery hot-rolled sheets with high strength and high-ductility, high strength automobile structure sheets; greatly develop high-grade H2S corrosion-proof, CO2 corrosion-proof, and strain-proof pipeline steel to maintain TISCO s strong competitive power in this field.
In order to proceed every plan according to the schedule, TISCO will do its best to improve laboratories construction as soon as possible, including completing construction of the intermediate testing spot and put it into operation in time; completing installation and commissioning of some large-scale instruments introduced by TISCO recently, e.g. transmission electron microscope (TEM); carrying out strict supervision and assessment of labs; improving labs testing capability continually to create better conditions for advanced varieties R D. At the same time, TISCO will promote construction of talents pool energetically, take numerous measures with respect to cultivation and introduction of high-end talents and encourage technical staffs to accomplish achievements for the corporation and for themselves by effective stimulating means.
