It just took TISCO three years to cover the whole process from early market investigation stage to trial and R D, followed consequently by batch supply. TISCO had 50% market share of stainless steel in nuclear power, occupying half of domestic market.
In recent years, facing unexpected new force of nuclear power equipments manufacture industry in China, TISCO concerns about market need closely, aims at high-end industry and sets up new development strategy for stainless steel in nuclear power field. Till now, stainless steel for nuclear power produced by TISCO has been used in LingAo nuclear power plant, QinShan nuclear power plant etc in succession.
With the increasing market share of stainless steel for nuclear power, TISCO formulated and issued Quality guarantee outline of stainless steel for nuclear power at the beginning of 2008 to improve products quality. In March, through evaluation and identification by domestic experts and scholars from nuclear industry, stainless steel for core parts of nuclear power equipments produced by TISCO was proved to reach an international advanced level.
