Recently, a batch of stainless steel pipes for boiler have been successfully developed in TISCO and smoothly put into the production, which arouse a strong reply in the market, and some grades have been delivered to the customers and got well received.
Since this year, with concerted efforts of relevant departments like R&D, production, marketing and etc, earnestly developing high-end products in compliance with the company s requirements, stainless steel pipe used for boiler has got a comprehensive breakthrough in the first half year, which fulfill the production process with complete specifications of TP304H, TP347H, and some products have been delivered to the customers and each performance can meet users requirements. In order to adapt to the application of supercritical units and ultra supercritical units with much higher efficiency, energy-saving and environmental protection, on the basis of TP347H summarizing, supercritical boiler used pipe 347HFG has been developed; by optimization of the heating process for slabs and solution annealing process for finished products, the whole line trail production has been completed with physical-chemical property tests fulfilled the prescribed requirements. Along with the increasing concern of the global environment problems, it is imperative to improve steam temperature and pressure of thermal power unit, which put forward higher requirements for heat resistance, high temperature corrosion resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance of the materials, therefore, on the basis of 347HFG, successfully developed super 304H for ultra supercritical boiler used pipe, which can not only reach to the optimal combination of high temperature strength, high temperature plastic and high temperature oxidation resistance, but also has a good economic value. In order to meet the requirement of CO2 emission reducing, aiming at new type heat-resisting steel materials research and development, the company has successfully developed ultra supercritical boiler used pipe - super HR3C with physical-chemical property tests fulfilled the prescribed requirements. At the same time, these steel grades have been approved by special equipment pressure pipeline manufacturing license of National Quality Administration. In order to get the further recognition from industry authorities and customers, super 304H and HR3C are applying the assessment from Mechanical Industry Federation currently.
