MCC 2010 Scientific and Technical Awards Announced in Beijing

Working Conference 2011 of MCC Group was convened in Beijing from January 14 to January 15, 2011. Chairman Jing Tianliang and President Wang Weimin of MCC Group, and President Shen Heting of MCC Limited awarded the nameplates for 30 MCC Engineering Technology Centers and 4 Demonstration Projects on Application of MCC New Construction Technologies in the year of 2010. They also awarded scientific prizes for the special award and the first prize of MCC Group in 2010.
At this event, the following three light-spots of MCC Group s scientific technology work in the year of 2010 were highlighted:
I Taking the establishment of scientific innovation platform as the core, and actively improving MCC s scientific innovation system
In 2010, two national-level scientific technology platforms were approved for MCC Group, namely: (i) National Engineering Technology Research Center of Sintering and Pelletizing Equipment System, which was established basing upon resources of Changtian International Engineering Corporation of MCC (CIE); and (ii) National Engineering Laboratory on Polysilicon Materials Manufacturing Technology, which was built basing upon resources of Luoyang China Silicon Corporation, a subsidiary of China ENFI Engineering Corp. (ENFI). Up to now, MCC Group has possessed 7 national-level scientific technology platforms.
II Through demonstration projects on application of new construction technologies, energetically promoting the popularization, application and industrialization of scientific and technical payoffs
In 2010, the Scientific & Technical Dept. redoubled efforts in promoting the popularization, application and industrialization of scientific and technical payoffs. They organized relevant experts to make assessment on the demonstration projects completed within 2010, which involved application of new construction technologies developed by MCC. Through application of new technologies, MCC strived to arouse the vitality of technical innovation and enhance popularity of technical achievements, further improve the core competitiveness of the enterprise, with the target to realize energy conservation, emission reduction and benefit improvement.
III Driving scientific innovation through award, and creating sound atmosphere for respect of knowledge, competent people and creation
In the interest to further improve the core competitiveness and encourage the technical innovation, the Review Committee of Scientific & Technical Award of MCC Group determined to grant the Award 2010 to 116 projects.
