Changsha Municipal Officials Visits CIE Industrial Park

Hunan Provincial Party Standing Committee Member & Changsha Municipal Committee Secretary Chen Run er, Changsha Municipal Party Standing Committee Member & Municipal Committee Secretary General Cheng Shuiquan and Changsha Municipal Deputy Mayor Li Jun paid an inspection and survey visit to the 1st phase project of CIE Science & Technology Industrial Park CIE special smelting equipment manufacturing base on March 8, 2011.
The survey team understood the process flow, technical characteristics and market prospect and other conditions of all kinds of special smelting equipments within the science & technology product exhibition zone, and showed special interests and attentions against the relevant energy conservation and environment protection technologies.
CIE chairman Yi Shuguang made a brief report on the operation and production of the company, science & technology R&D, environment friendly industry development, the 3rd five year plan and the building and planning of the science & technology industrial park. And the survey team handled official business on the site in terms of the problems encountered in the process of building CIE science & technology industrial park.
Chen Run er commended that CIE, as an advanced technology engineering company in the research and application of metallurgy technologies, had large market potentials, solid technical foundations and sufficient talents, its fast development in recent years contributed largely to local development, and it was demonstration company in the combination of production, research and operation and it represented the development orientation of Hi-tech zone of Changsha in the future. And in terms of the further development of CIE, he made the following requirements:
I. Continue the integration development of design, investment and construction and building overall contracting;
II. Further strengthen internationalized operation aiming at international market;
III. Further expand scale and get more power in international market; and
IV. Strengthen continuously the R&D of a series of new energy conservation and emission reduction technologies such as flue gas desulfurization, and play a positive role in the building and sustainable development of resource conservation and environment friendly society.
Chen Run er expressed that the government would fully support the building and development of CIE science & technology industrial park. He also hoped that CIE work hard to complete the park with efficiency and quality, further consolidate and tap the core advantages, accelerate development and make more contributions to the development of Changsha Dahexi Leading District.
