Recently, ICBC Internet Banking successfully completed system upgrade again. The new functions in this upgrade are Toll Station, Reserved Information Verification, Nationwide Account Management, Automatic Repayment of Peony Card, etc, which further improved ICBC customer service ability. Among the new functions, Reserved Information Verification service is an effective measure to verify authenticity of bank website, which is first launched by domestic bank in China.

According to the person in charge of ICBC, to solve the difficulty of enterprise customers in collection, ICBC launched Toll Station function on Internet Banking. Enterprises without collection system can also realize one-point access through ICBC Internet Banking to collect fees from enterprises and individuals throughout the country. Paying enterprises and individual customers can complete payment business online at any time and anywhere by just clicking mouse after registering ICBC Internet Banking, further reflect the advantages of convenience, rapid and cost saving of Internet Banking.

Secondly, to ensure the funds safety of numerous Internet Banking users and address the problems of criminals stealing customer Internet Banking information by using false bank websites and pages, ICBC launched Reserved Information Verification service in the Internet Banking. After individual customers reserving information through ICBC Personal Internet Banking or in ICBC business office, ICBC will display the reserved information when asked to input payment card number to pay online or online sign agent payment agreement.

Customer can judge the authenticity of the website based on the displayed information so as to effectively prevent fraud of false website.

Thirdly, after the upgrade of ICBC Internet Banking, personal customer can link his/her all ICBC accounts in other cities under his/her name to be under-linked accounts of Personal Internet Banking by registering online or over the counter of ICBC business office. Through Internet Banking, customers can manage and use his/her personal accounts opened in ICBC business office throughout the country.

Finally, for convenience of overdrawing and repayment of Peony International Card and Credit Card, ICBC launched automatic repayment function for Peony Card. Peony International Card and Credit Card customers with personal customer certificate USB Key can set in "Peony Card Automatic Repayment Service" of Peony Card under Personal Financing column of Internet Banking and Internet Banking system will deduct the repayment amount from the account specified by the customer on the due repayment date of the month.

Numerous peony card users, with automatic repayment function, can enjoy convenience and preference of long free-interest period (25-56 days) and will be free form trouble of penalty caused by forgetting repayment date.
