After giving a summary of remarkable results achieved in 2005, both of the companies announced new marketing plans and important promotional activities for the Peony Express Card in 2006.
The Peony Express Card has had a remarkable performance since its launch in December 2004. Cities where Peony Express cards were issued increased from 4 at the beginning to 44 now. 2005 was a harvest year for the card with issuance number well beyond expectation. According to the internal statistics, the average spending using Peony Express Card exceeded the industry average by 100%. Frequent travelers with a high purchasing power also found Peony Express card attractive. No wonder that overseas spending with Peony Express Card was also 20% above industry average.
