The Number of ICBC Cash Management Customer Broke Through 20,000

During Q1 2006, ICBC cash management service remained its rapid growth momentum and marked encouraging performance. Till March 31st, the number of ICBC cash management customer has broken the threshold of 20,000 and reached 20,336 accounts, representing a net growth of 2,703 vis- -vis account volume by the end of 2005. It further concreted the first position of ICBC in cash management in China.

The constantly updated management concepts generated more urging demands for cash management by large companies. ICBC has been taking an enduring effort into product and service innovation for cash management, and into creating foresighted and flexible products to satisfy the customized cash management need from customers.

ICBC takes full advantages of its overseas branch resources and has built a "1+1" cooperation mode with the foreign banks to enhance its cash management capacity. Meanwhile, ICBC fosters an acute insight of the market dynamics subsequent to the gradually loosening foreign exchange policies. It launched foreign currency cash management solutions to further push forward the integration between the domestic and foreign currencies, which drew favorable attention of customers and attracted a large number of important quality enterprises.
