On March 31, 2007, China Finance Net and Sohu Finance and Economic, CCTV Advertising jointly held the "2007 China Banking Analysis and Forecast Annual Conference/3rd China Banking Expert Summit" in Beijing. ICBC Peony Card was named as the "2006 Best Favored Bank Card" by the organizing committee.
This year the summit focused on the perspective in China opening up financial market to the world, monetary policy, banking innovation, development direction of insurance, securities, city commercial banks, rural cooperative unions and the impact on China financial market after foreign banks entering. Also included was giving awards to banking individuals and companies who have achieved great results in 2006.
