ICBC Wins "The Best Sub-custodian Banks in China" Twice

ICBC domestic custodian services have been recently top-rated as "The Best Sub-custodian Banks in China".by the world renowned financial journal published in the U.S. Global Finance in its 2006 poll This is another highest rating in 2006 to ICBC after being named again as "The Best Sub-custodian Banks in China" by the HK magazine The Assets, adding the international awards given on ICBC custodian services to a total of six for the past three years. So far ICBC has claimed the most number of awards for custodian services as well as the most influential custodian bank internationally in China.

According to industry insiders, ICBC s outstanding custodian services in terms of business growth, client relationships, service quality, skill and technology, continuity plan and local experience bracketed ICBC to the top and won the awards presented by two global flagship financial magazines, as the recognition that ICBC is representing the best performance in the world of custodian services.

According to ICBC spokesperson, as the No.1 custodian bank in China, in 2006 ICBC gathered momentum in the scale and services, with assets held on behalf of clients being doubled four years consecutively, which shows its core competency, thanks to the 4th generation custodian accounting management and valuation system that went into production and a global network in place. He indicated that ICBC will commit to build a closer mutual trust relationship with customers in order to offer a basket of services from core custodian services to innovated personalized value-added services.
