The Investor Relations (IR) Management Review, which is hosted by China Securities Journal and Nanjing University, has announced the awards of 2006 recently. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (ICBC) was awarded two prizes, awards for IR Innovation and Top 100 Best IR Management enterprises.
ICBC is always emphasizing the investors' relations management. Last year, ICBC has succeeded in releasing A+H, which creates the best of the world or the No.1 of China in over 20 fields, such as, the largest IPO in the global capital market history, 100 percent order rate during the one-to-one discussion in the RoadShow, the first use of GreenShoe for A-share release.
After the stock has been on the market, ICBC tried to explore and innovate in the investor relations management by building up the investor communication platform, constructing reverse RoadShow base and holding the shareholders meeting and the performance release conference by first use of webcam. ICBC is highly commended by global investors for its efforts.
