So far, both academies have conducted fruitful cooperation.
Zhou also said that the scientific and technological collaboration between the two academies has played positive role in promoting better diplomatic relations between the two nations. President Nilsson said that he valued the cooperative relationship between the two academies and would continue to encourage and support joint studies in frontier research fields which enjoy the common interest of both academies.
Zhou and Nilsson also discussed issues like the reception of the upcoming Royal Technology Mission (RTM) under the patronage of H.M. King Carl Gustaf of Sweden and the renewal of agreement between both academies. Both Zhou and Nilsson believe that CAE and IVA should further their collaboration in fields like clean energy development, energy utilization, biotechnology, pharmacy etc. Both agreed to renew the memorandum of understanding in due time.
