Wang made the remarks when meeting with U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on the sidelines of a seminar on the international monetary system.
Chinese President Hu Jintao's U.S. visit in January opened up a new chapter for Sino-U.S. partnership of cooperation, and the two sides should fully implement the results from the visit, Wang said.
During Hu's visit, the two sides declared in a joint communique their commitment to building a cooperative partnership based on mutual respect and mutual benefit.
Geithner said the United States is ready to work with China to push forward preparatory work of the third round of S&ED, which is to be held in May, and contribute to a robust, sustainable and balanced growth of world economy.
The two officials also exchanged views on issues including world economy and the upcoming G20 summit.
Apart from Geithner, Wang met with British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne and Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister Ali Babacan.
Wang and Osborne exchanged views on issues of common concern, including world economy and preparations for the fourth China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue.
In the meeting with Babacan, Wang voiced the hope that Turkey would recognize China's market economy status at an early date.
Speaking high of the China-Turkey relations, Wang said China is willing to work with Turkey to deepen cooperation in economy, investment, finance, tourism and infrastructure.
Babacan said Turkey fully respects China's sovereignty and territorial integrity and expects strengthened cooperation with China in various fields.
