The Leadership Office of Coordination Council for the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Experimental Zone of Two-oriented Society Construction announced on Nov. 13 that the experimental zone has yielded great achievements in the past three years and its role of core growth pole has made a preliminary effect. The contribution rate of the three cities to the economic growth of Hunan Province reaches 55%.
It is introduced that Chang-Zhu-Tan has intially constructed the system of Two-oriented modern industry. A bunch of strategic industries including advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy, new material, biomedicine, energy conservation, environmental protection and cultural originality have gained rapid growth. The added value of high-tech sectors occupies 12.3% of the GDP.
