Weihai s air passenger throughput tops 80 thousand persons

On the morning of December 16, Yu Fei, a passenger who was checking in of the flight MU2286 to Shanghai at Weihai Airport, was presented with a bouquet for celebrating her to be a 800,000th passenger of the year 2010.
I am very surprised to be a 800,000th passenger this year. I choose the flight of Weihai airport to Shanghai because the flights to Shanghai are frequent and the service offered is agreeable , said Yu Fei.
China Civil Aviation, Weihai Branch aimed to expand new flight courses last year based on the original courses. The Airport increased by 3 scheduled flights to Shanghai and 1 more flight to Beijing per day starting the summer of 2010.
In addition, the Airport start a new domestic route connecting Weihai, Dalian and Shenyang and the first overseas route to Khabarovsk, Russia. At present, the Airport provides above 230 scheduled flights to serve foreign and domestic routes per week, contributing for city opening and foreign exchanges.
