Yesterday, it was found that the price of tomatoes fell from 10.6 yuan per kilo to 5.38 yuan per kilo, the price of cucumbers dropped from 7.38 yuan per kilo to 4.98 yuan per kilo, and the price of some leaf vegetables such as cabbage fell by about 3 percent. According to the staff from the supermarket, a continuous price drop is largely because of the good weather after the Spring Festival when the temperature rapidly rises.
As a result, the vegetables will tend to deteriorate if overstocked. Since overstock is impossible, compounded with vegetables of other provinces flooding in, the price of vegetables will inevitably reduce.
