March 26th is the activity day of Earth Hour this year. Today, Jinan Municipal-level Government Offices Administration proposed to all public organizers of the city that the lights will stay off for one hour at 20:30 21:30, which is the third time that Jinan government held this activity. The activity of Earth Hour is a large public welfare pro-environment activity proposed by World Wildlife Fund to deal with the changes of global climate, which proposes one-hour blackout at 20:30 21:30 on the last Saturday in March each year. To prepare for the activity day of Earth Hour , Jinan Municipal-level Government Offices Administration proposed to hold the activity of loving the earth from the little things right . Besides the one-hour blackout, it also advised the citizens to turn off unused electrical appliances in time, change filament lamp into energy saving lamp, promote the application of green energy resource and reduce the application of disposable articles; and proposed the green travel by public transportation to save our beautiful homeland with practical actions.
