Shaoxing University Female Choir Succeeded in Defending the Championship
At 10:00 a.m., July 19th, the Award Ceremony was held At China Textile City International Convention & Exhibition Centre. 12 choirs from 7 countries won the first prize, namely Estonia, Indonesia, South Africa, the US, Malaysia, Sweden and China, with their National flags rising in the Centre.
147 medals were awarded during the first part of the Game, among which 73 were awarded to the competitors from the Mainland, China, namely, 16 gold medals, 40 silver medals and 17 bronze medals. The local team like the Yuecheng District Children's Choir, Shaoxing Public Art Center Choir, Hailiang Children's Choir, The Shaoxing Shangyu Wolong Chorus have all achirve a good result.
The only gold medal that the Chinese teams have won during the 1st stage of the Game was awared to the Shaoxing University Female Choir, which is also a successful and exciting practice to defend their championship.
