In recent years, the official statistics in China have attached great importance to the reflection of the well-being of the people, established and perfected the index system of the income and expenditure of the urban and rural residents, population and employment, and conducted statistical supervision on less developed towns and townships and low-income people. Meanwhile, statistical work has been switched from closed to open. At present, the official statistical data has become more of an important base to know the economic operation rules, improve government administration, and channel business investments and wealth management and consumption of the residents.
